Each application will be reviewed by the John McNicholas Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation Review Committee. The Committee is comprised of senior scientists and officers and representatives of the John McNicholas Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. The decision of the Committee is final and cannot be appealed. The Committee will review submissions based upon the scientific and innovative merit of the application and according to the following criteria:
- Development of key understanding and/or interventions for high-grade gliomas, including prognostic, therapeutic, or basic understanding of pediatric brain tumors, preferably with a focus on high grade gliomas.
- Strength of scientific rationale
- Likelihood of achieving milestones, including clinical application
Finalists may be asked to respond to questions from the Advisory Committee.
