The applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident at time of application
The applicant must have received an MD/DO or MD/PhD degree from an accredited institution, completed his/her subspecialty training, and be board-certified or board eligible
The applicant should be a full-time fellow or have a full time faculty position or equivalent at an academic institution within the United States. Candidates at private institutions may be considered, but should contact the Foundation to determine eligibility.
The applicant must commit to spending 50% of his/her time conducting research (both related and unrelated to the Glioma Scholar Award). Candidates spending less than 50% time in research will be considered on a case by case basis. We recommend contacting the foundation to explore this question before submitting an application.
The institution of the award recipient must agree to abide by the terms of the award
